The Left Field Club brings great alternative rock and indie bands to Club 85.
Tonight, we have a triple header, featuring two of promoter Roger King’s favourite bands (and one soon to be favourite band), as a birthday treat for himself and everyone else who wants to join him!
We have a Club 85 debut from rock trio Almamor, who will be unleashing their debut album… Three musicians from Portugal, Greece and the UK who met in London and were an unexpected highlight of last year’s Balstock festival. They take influences from the past five decades of rock music (particularly strongly from the 70s and 90s, to these ears) and merge it into a splendid and cohesive whole!
Meanwhile, Baldock's epic art rockers Points, who played the second Left Field Club show, are back with a new lineup and new songs.
And finishing the night off in their own inimitable style will be our "super subs" Old Man Jr... We were very fortunate to be able to get such a quality band to fill in, at the last minute!
OLD MAN JR.
