Club 85 and She Wolf Promotions presents.

Lupa - The Breaking Out Tour! So Lupa are coming home for their Breaking Out Tour in Aug, after playing in Manchester then Sheffield Lupa will come home and raise the roof at Club 85 in Hitchin, alongside these amazing acts: Walking On Mountains & The West View! Read a bit about these bands below...

Lupa - Lupa’s distinctive electronic rock sound is a fusion of EDM, Drum and Bass and Rock Music, best described as the angry rock obsessed lovechild of Paramore and Chase and Status. The force behind the music is only exaggerated by Lupa’s explosive live performance, the soaring synths, the monstrous bass lines and the anthemic choruses represented by the domination of the stages they play. As with any rock band, as much time and commitment goes into the craft of the live performance as goes into the music to maintain an enthralling live show. In Latin, Lupa means ‘She-Wolf’ which could not be more appropriate for such a feisty, female fronted, explosive band.

Lupa are fierce controllers of their own destiny, if you want your own voice you have to use your own mind, and if the path is easy and well trodden it probably doesn’t lead anywhere good. Do not let who you are and what you have to say become diluted by the pressures of today's society and the assumed dependence on big industry.

Stand tall, shout loud and fight for yourself!

Walking On Mountains - Walking On Mountains are a Sheffield based Alternative rock band, writing and recording their own contemporary music. Formed from the Ashes of the band Infirmity, Walking on Mountains take influence from groups such as Muse, Bring Me The Horizon & Linkin Park and combine it with their own musical and personal experiences to create their unique sound.

The West View - The West View is electro-influenced alternative rock music. A combination of a love of synths and loops, and loud emotional rock tunes with big melodies and powerful lyrics. It's the sound of a bit of heartache and a lot of hope. Songwriter and vocalist Jake is based in Herts and is a former DJ with gigs at legendary London venues including Ministry of Sound, Turnmills and Egg, playing alongside some of electronic music's biggest names such as Sander Kleinenberg and Smokin' Jo. He presents the electronic music show Electrodrome for North Herts FM. The West View brings together his love of electronic sounds with melodic, folk and alt-rock songwriting.
