ARTcore FESTIVAL (Art Exhibition, Poetry and Live Music)

ARTcore Festival!
A first of its kind event for Club 85, combining local art, poetry and live music!
We’ll be inviting local amateur and professional artists to display their work for a pop-up exhibition to open up the day; this will include work from people who are already well-known in the area, including Ryan Moore, Joshua Levitas, former Herts resident/now Brighton-based Emma Vincent, Alice Cole and more.
Later in the evening, you’ll also see examples of artwork projected onto C85’s back screen whilst the bands perform, making their art part of the performances.
A short poetry set will be performed by local poet Emma Chillmaid, who also writes custom-made/on-the-spot pieces for people on a typewriter – have a look at her work including performance clips at https://instagram.com/writingthroughawindow
