ION MAIDEN – A fully Charged Tribute to Iron Maiden!

Ion Maiden formed in August 2018, The original line up was built around the core of four ex-members of some of best Maiden tribute bands in the UK at the time.
In early 2022, the band were honoured to be invited to reopen the legendary Cart & Horses – famously known as the “Birthplace of Iron Maiden” – following its extensive refurbishment. They shared the stage with Airforce, whose drummer, Doug Sampson, is none other than Iron Maiden’s former sticksman and featured on the original Soundhouse Tapes.
With the current line up taking everywhere by storm since March 2022, the band has gone from strength to strength, and are now putting on some of the most authentic Maiden shows you’ll see.
They have played in some amazing venues, including playing the Maiden after show party in Manchester June 2023, and 2 sold out in advance shows in November 2022 and November 2023 at the Cart & Horses. The most recent show saw the band joined on stage by former Iron Maiden Guitarist Terry Wapram.
It has been said that the only thing more Maiden than Ion Maiden, is Iron Maiden themselves!

Age: persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult.
Earplugs are available upon request (50p).
Downstairs bar open until 1am.
We are just a 5-minute stroll from the station.; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge, Peterborough and London.
