MUSIKAL SIN PROMOTIONS’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY GIG

October 24 @ 5:30 pm
£11.00

Since 2006, Musikal Sin Promotions has been bringing rising talent from the metal, rock and alternative scenes to Club 85, including acts who have gone to perform on the biggest stages and festivals in the UK and overseas, and covers of magazines such as Kerrang and Rock Sound – names such as Cage Fight, My Passion, Fell Silent, Don Broco (before they were Don Broco!), Pupil Slicer, The Grey, Grave Lines, Famyne, Confessions Of A Traitor, Trippy Wicked, Lowen and many more, along with the best local talent over the years.

This October sees the 20th anniversary of MSP’s first gig, becoming C85’s longest-running promoter and one of the longest-running in the county, so to mark the occasion C85 will be holding a gig featuring some of the best names that the current underground scene has to offer:

Praetorian
Herts’ own sludge metal titans, who released their debut album ‘Pylon Cult’ via respected underground label APF Records last year. These guys have quite literally been stomping a trail through the UK’s venues over the past few years (as anyone who has seen frontman Tom’s antics can attest to!), taking in a slots at Bloodstock and Desertfest along the way. Have a listen to their discography at https://praetorianuk.bandcamp.com, or check out the music video for live favourite ‘Ode To A Drunk Driver’ at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSB0ZLsZKNE.

Extreme Death Art
Exactly what it says on the tin; no-nonsense old-school death metal, featuring members who’ve played in various local acts over they years, including current members of Elysian Divide and fronted by Jackal’s Backbone frontwoman Timi.

The Injester
The horror-fueled clowncore troupe is back in town, having previously haunted stages at Bloodstock, Hammerfest and Download. Check out their spooky wares at https://theinjester.bandcamp.com/album/a-spectacle-to-behold.

An upcoming alt-rock/metal act who’ve spent the last few years building a steady fanbase around London and Herts, managing to reach the finals of M2TM London this year. They’ve also released a handful of singles this year – have a listen at https://open.spotify.com/artist/2VDGRlEJ6qDbkyFkgugKsP.
