4 Bands / One Amazing Night:

Screaming Skys:

Formed in Hitchin, Screaming Skys is a 4 piece grunge gaze band who have been playing in various rock bands since the mid 90s.

Emerging from the haze of memory and emotion, Screaming Skys fuses the raw urgency of 90s alt-rock with the dreamy textures of shoegaze, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and timeless.

Their music drifts between introspective melancholy and cathartic release, pulling listeners into a world where teenage angst meets adult reflection, where ghostly melodies linger over crashing guitars and reverb-soaked atmospheres.

The band are currently recording their debut album to support their blistering live shows where chaos meets clarity and true expression is released!

The Contenders:

The Contenders are a 4 piece Indie Mod band who have been bringing sharp, swagger heavy indie rock to their stages and sets, With influences from The Libertines and The Jam and armed with their Debut single ‘Pigman and the Boys’ expect chaos, liveliness and energy”

The Jackhounds:

The Jackhounds are a high energy band with blistering riffs and fast paced songs that aim to give a good show every time. If you like Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age or Megadeath, then they are the band for you. Their original songs are the highlight of their live performances, combining aspects from grunge and punk music to keep the energy flowing.

All Stars Too:

All Stars Too are a Hertfordshire-based five-piece blasting through covers of classic 1970s and 1980s punk and post-punk anthems with our own chaotic twist — punchy guitars, thunderous drums, pulsing bass, and vocals that veer between snarling sneer and playful shout. Our shows are punctuated as much by call-and-response banter and black comedy as they are by pogo-fuelling mayhem as we rip through the back catalogues of punk’s founding godfathers from both sides of the Atlantic. Smash your ears with blistering renditions of Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Buzzcocks, The Adverts, Ruts, Magazine, Sham 69, The Vapors, The Rezillos, Joy Division and many more – perhaps even the odd surprise thrown in.

With every set being an unpredictable party of attitude, between-songs banter, a tall tale or two, and maybe even an off-the-cuff skit, whether you’re a Ground Zero punk veteran or a fresh-faced headbanger, All Stars Too will drag you onto the dancefloor, crack a sarcastic joke in your face, and leave you grinning through the chaos.

Doors: 5.45pm
Tickets: £8 in advance + 10% booking fee, £10 on the door

Age: Persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult.

Earplugs are available on request.

Downstairs bar open until 1am.

We are just a 5 minute stroll from the station; like all of our gigs, this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge, Peterborough and London.
