DESCRIPTION:One of the fastest selling shows at the venue in 2024 we are pleased to welcome the return of ‘SOUND OF THE LIONESS’ a tribute to AMY WINEHOUSE \nFormed in 2016\, SOUND OF LIONESS is an 8-piece tribute to AMY WINEHOUSE with the goal of paying an authentic homage to the music of the late Amy Winehouse. \nComplete with a full horn section (including Baritone sax and flute) and drawing inspiration from her incredible performances\, the band accurately recreates the live sound of Amy’s touring bands of the 2000s\, ranging from the jazz-inflection of the Frank era (2004) to the soul-drenched Mark Ronson style of the Back to Black years (2006-7).\nExpect to hear some of her greatest hits like: Valerie\, Back to Black\, Tears Dry On Their Own\, Rehab\, Me & Mr. Jones\, Monkey Man\, Love Is A Losing Game\, Will You Still Love Me\, You Know I’m No Good\, Stronger Than Me\, With the release of the Amy Winehouse biopic\, Back to Black\, coming up in April\, we’re sure this will be a popular show again. \n\nTickets are on sale at £16 on Friday 18th April at 10am from Seetickets and\, available online at See Tickets and local outlets of Bar 85\, H Town Rags and Davids Music Hitchin from the 25th April. \n\nTicket link: https://www.seetickets.com/event/amy-winehouse-tribute-sound-of-the-lioness/club-85/3405236 \nDoors: 7:30pm \n\nAge: Persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult. \nEarplugs are available upon request (50p). \nDownstairs bar open until 1am. \nWe are just a 5-minute stroll from the station.; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge\, Peterborough and London. \nFor full up to the minute listings please consider signing up to our mailing list for information on existing and upcoming gigs straight to you!
