DESCRIPTION:BRUCE JUICE – The Springsteen Tribute Band \n\nPleased to announce BRUCE JUICE  ‘The Springsteen Tribute Band’ are heading to Club 85 Hitchin to perform one of their legendary a 3-hour\, high energy blast of the Boss’s greatest songs as well some early and rare gems. Doors are the earlier time for 7pm with the band taking to the stage 7:30pm \n\nA live injection of Bruce Juice during the long years between Bruce Springsteen’s tours\, this new band provides a vibrant tonic pumped into every aching hungry heart. \n\nYou can expect an ‘E-Street’ experience that captures the unique seven-piece band line-up through arrangements from legendary concerts such as the Main Point to the Bottom Line\, Passaic\, Winterland and Tempe. \nThe band reproduces the original arrangements from the 1970s Wild\, Innocent and a slow\, bluesy ‘E Street Shuffle’ as well as the iconic anthems from the ‘Born to Run’ tour. \n\nMore gems from the 1980s capture the crisp\, rasping sound of the ‘Professor’s’ piano\, Federici’s organ and Clarence’s sax from ‘The River’ tour\, as well as a few stadium foot-stompers from the ‘Born in the USA’ tour. \nBruce Juice stands out as there are usually couple of surprise gems thrown in\, with some great Bruce songs that don’t normally feature in tributes\, but are much loved by Bruce fans. \n\nThis is the only Springsteen tribute band that combines both popular favourites with the essence of Springsteen’s arrangements in legendary live gigs and an unforgettable show. \n\nThe term ‘tribute band’ doesn’t really fit – it is just that there isn’t another word. We are not trying to pay tribute to Bruce as if he has won an award or passed away. Instead\, we absolutely LOVE his music and everything about the energy and passion with which he and the E Street Band deliver unforgettable shows. \n\nSo\, instead\, we aim to take a strong flavour from Bruce’s live performances and combine them with legendary arrangements mixed in with the rich texture of the E Street Band and give audiences a Springsteen-inspired experience full of E Street magic. \n\nWe certainly do not try to imitate or mimic Springsteen\, which as all fans will know\, would be an exercise in failure\, though we will borrow a variety of phrases\, caricatures and moments from great Bruce gigs to give a glimpse of what an up close and personal experience it must have been for all those fortunate enough to have seen Bruce in those small\, intimate gigs at the Bottom Line and the Main Point\, among many others. \nSo\, we aim to deliver a high-energy show inspired by Springsteen\, to send you home with a strong injection of Bruce Juice until the real thing alights on these shores again. \n\nTickets priced £16 are on sale from Weds 30th April from Seetickets & are also available in person from local outlets. \nTicket link: https://www.seetickets.com/event/bruce-juice/club-85/3410150 \nDoors: 7pm \n\nAge: Persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult. \nEarplugs are available upon request (50p). \nDownstairs bar open until 1am. \nWe are just a 5-minute stroll from the station.; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge\, Peterborough and London. \nFor full up to the minute listings please consider signing up to our mailing list for information on existing and upcoming gigs straight to you!
