DESCRIPTION:JOANovARC / PLANET FATALE / BABYSTEP / WITHDRAWN\n£9+ | 6.30pm | Sunday 08.03.2026 \nFor International Women’s Day\, we’ll be holding a gig to mark the occasion\, joined by a line-up which will showcase talent from the local rock/alternative scene\, featuring: \n  \nJOANovARC\nHerts’ queens of hard/classic rock\, making a very welcome return to 85. JOA had a busy 2025\, which included a string of live dates across the country\, writing the forthcoming new material and the release of the singles ‘You Don’t Know’\, ‘Say Sayonara’ and ‘Hey Sister’\, which are available on various streaming platforms. \nGive them a listen on BANDCAMP or SPOTIFY! \nPLANET FATALE \nHeavy rockers from Cambridge\, who’ve previously gained a local fanbase via their appearances at Metal 2 The Masses. Their infectious debut album ‘The Cycle Repeats’ is available digitally and on CD and vinyl at https://planetfatale.bandcamp.com/album/the-cycle-repeats. \nBABYSTEP \nTeenage Alt-Rock band\, combining elements of grunge\, shoegaze and pop punk. Based in Hertfordshire/London.\nBABY STEP is a 5 piece alternative rock band based in Hertfordshire. Inspired by the likes of Paramore and Title Fight\, BABY STEP are a “great band with a punchy sound and high energy performance style” (Rough Edges) that combine pop-punk with shoegaze elements in their structure and instrumentation. \nWITHDRAWN \nWithdrawn are a Bedfordshire-based alt-metal band\, dancing between the lines of nu-metal\, hardcore and something you can’t quite place.
