DESCRIPTION:CHINA CRISIS!\n7.30pm | Friday 24.04.26 | Club 85\, Hitchin. \nChina Crisis are an English pop/rock band formed in 1979 in Kirkby\, near Liverpool\, Merseyside with a core of vocalist/keyboardist Gary Daly and guitarist Eddie Lundon. \nChina Crisis were originally assimilated in the batch of new wave Liverpool acts of the late 1970s and early 1980s\, led by OMD and also including The Teardrop Explodes\, A Flock of Seagulls and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. \nChina Crisis had huge success in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s with five Top 40 singles and three Top 40 albums\, as well as commercial success worldwide. The string of hit singles included African & White\, Christian\, Working with Fire and Steel\, Black Man Ray\, Wake up King in Catholic style & Wishful Thinking. \nTickets go on sale at 10am on Monday 24th November from SeeTickets and will be available 01/12 from the venue and H Town Rags in Hitchin\, or David’s Music in Letchworth! \n  \nDOORS 7.30pm\nENTRY £28.50 advance (plus online booking fee)/more on the door. \n  \nAge: persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult. \nEarplugs are available upon request. \nDownstairs bar open until 1am. \nWe are just a 5-minute stroll from the station; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge\, Peterborough and London. \nFor full up to the minute listings please visit www.club-85.co.uk and consider signing up to our mailing list for information on existing and upcoming gigs straight to you! \nAnd remember… Club 85 loves you! xo
