DESCRIPTION:Mary In The Junkyard | Friday 2nd October | 19:30 \nReally excited to announce that one of the hottest new bands around\, MARY IN THE JUNKYARD will be playing Club 85 in October\, courtesy of The Pad Presents. \nMary in the Junkyard have quickly become one of the UK’s most intriguing new acts\, stitching together haunting alt‑folk\, shadowy art‑rock\, and a kind of late‑night emotional rawness that feels both fragile and ferocious. Their songs drift between whispered confession and sudden\, serrated bursts of noise — the kind of dynamic that hits even harder in an intimate room like Club 85.Frontwoman Clari Freeman’s voice is the anchor: cracked\, expressive\, and capable of turning a single line into a gut punch.
