  • Club 85 is now available for Live Streaming and Video Recording Full Band Shows!

To helps us survive, to gear up properly for live streaming, to keep us afloat while we can only have very limited capacity gigs, to help us diversify and explore other income streams and secure the future for our little gem of a venue, and to give you a chance to pick up some great rewards, we will be launching a new Crowdfunder so watch this space.

Hi Bob,
I’ve been thinking of you! Would it be possible to meet up in Hitchin in a week or so? My nephew is in a band in Brighton, and I’ll ask him if he’s interested in a rehearsal – Their band did 2 gigs before lockdown, I’m seeing him tomorrow and will talk about logistics… but I’d really like to see you!
All the best, Richard

Covid 19 aside. I think there’s always been a need for a band practice room that kinda blends together playing at a gig with hiring a private studio. With this the band rehearsing has to work harder as entertainers the whole time they are there, but they get the practice for free. The venue owner doesn’t pay the entertainers because they are already getting a free rehearsal. The drinking club members enjoy a mixed bag they can see practice and songwriting. If the band keeps playing the same song for hours or a too crap then they won’t get invited again.
