Jackal’s Backbone – Herts’ extreme metal outfit Jackal’s Backbone will be releasing their long-awaited debut album ‘Red Mist Descending’ at this gig. JB have kept themselves busy over the past few years, with festival appearances including Bloodstock 2019 and a couple of EPs, and are refusing to let this past year’s lockdowns stop their momentum. Dreadbeggar – The Herts-based sludge duo (Richard Stevenson and James McGrenery, both workhorses of the Herts metal scene) will be making this a double launch night, as they will also be releasing their debut EP on this night. Silverhex – Making their first appearance at C85, London’s Silverhex are a hard rock/metal act with a sound inspired by the likes of In This Moment and Killswitch Engage.
