The legendary Boom in the Diamond Industry return to Club 85 for a final party!
BOOM rised like a phoenix from the ashes of the mythical Fog Donkey in 2003, embracing a catchy post-punk sound, and touring nationwide throughout the noughties with bands such as Capdown, Hundred Reasons, Hell is For Heroes, Adequate 7 and Douglas. They are as engrossing as they are danceable
Their album ‘Vibe City’ was released in 2010 and is available on all streaming platforms.
Joining them will be local compatriots of the noughties scene, Ardent Kicks, like the ronseal of bands, Ardent Kicks do exactly what they say on the tin, bringing their fiery brand of bombastic post punk to Hitchin once more
Opening the evening Death Hymns are a British indie rock band. Formed in 2024, consisting of brothers mark and Paul, drummer Sam and the soul of David lynch. Definitely one to watch we recommend arriving early to catch these guys in action

All proceeds go directly to the club to help fund their move when the current venue closes it’s doors at the end of the year

Like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge/Peterborough and London and we are just a 5 minute stroll from the station.
