After the threat of closure and redevelopment, Club 85 now have the opportunity to buy the building and save this iconic music venue that will otherwise close in June 2025.
Garden City Samba and Doby K Quintet will get you dancing to a night of Bossa Nova, Carnival & Afro-Brazilian rhythms to help save this local treasure.

Garden City Samba
Letchworth based samba percussion group Garden City Samba brings you the exhilarating rhythms of Brazilian Carnival!
This 30-piece samba percussion group brings you the exhilarating rhythms of Brazilian Carnival! Our repertoire will take you on a musical journey performing rhythms from the States of Pernambuco, Bahia & Rio de Janeiro.
Formed in 2011, this group has a busy schedule of performances throughout the year, particularly at local events, festivals & parades.

Doby K Quintet
The Doby K Quintet is one of the manifestations of The Doby K Music Project. Headed and directed by the unique Jazz vocals of Doubravka Kolackova.
A recently formed group they are gaining interest and popularity with several Jazz aficionados. It has been said that it is just a matter of time before professional recognition comes along for these guys. Don’t hesitate to book your tickets quickly to see this exciting act at the beginning of their musical adventure!
