Grave Lines – The London/Brighton-based quartet will be bringing their ‘heavy gloom’ to Hitchin. Brooding doom metal with an air of post-punk, Grave Lines are a leading name in the UK’s doom scene, having played at Bloodstock, Desertfest, Doom Vs Stoner and various other festivals, with members who have also played in bands including Dead Witches, Sea Bastard, Dead Existence and Casual Nun. Praetorian – Hitchin’s unhinged sludge quartet have been building a reputation as a fierce live act over the past few years, having played across the country in any venue able to keep them contained (or not in some cases, as anyone who has witnessed frontman Tom’s venue-wide antics will attest). This will be their first hometown gig in a while, and possibly the last before C85 closes, so be sure to come see them whilst we can still do this.
