*SOLD OUT* The Bluetones (Acoustic) + Alicia Edelweiss

Kicking off 2023 The Bluetones frontman Mark Morriss and his partner in crime Adam Devlin are taking their ‘Bluetones Acoustic’ show back out on the road this spring and will be making a ‘Slight Return’ to Club 85 in Hitchin on Saturday 28th April.

The band, formed in 1993, had an impressive run of hit singles throughout the late 90’s/early 00’s, including ’Bluetonic’, ‘Slight Return’, ‘Marblehead Johnson’, ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, ‘If’ and ‘Keep the Fires Burning’. They scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts before a hiatus in 2010. Returning in 2015 with a run sell out shows the band continue to tour to packed houses up and down the UK. This is a unique chance to hear the classics stripped back with shows at more intimate venues the band don’t usually play.

Like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge/Peterborough and London and we are just a 5 minute stroll from the station.
