The Soul Music Collective
The Soul Music Collective is a local band of like-minded musicians and singers who love soul music. The band have been together for 6 years; however, they have musical experience going back 40 years. Yes, they started really young, really young!
As individual singers and musicians, they have played on radio, TV and countries around the world, playing for soul and gospel artists.
It’s a family affair when it comes to the bass player and the singers. Kevin, the band leader is married to Elaine and the other singer Sonia, is Kevin’s sister.
They celebrate the genre and music of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.
With over 40 songs in their repertoire, there will definitely be something for people to sing and dance to. They perform at weddings, parties, music festivals, and corporate events.
They perform as a 6 – piece, but also up to a 11 – piece that includes a brass section.
One of the band is a member of The Kingdom Choir, who performed at The Royal Wedding in 2018.
