Tribe Of Ghosts – Coming back to 85, Brighton’s TOG have continued their musical evolution into a formidable live act. TOG’S current form began in 2022 when founder Adam Sedgwick chose to scrap their old material and start afresh, creating a post-metal/industrial hybrid sound that has been picking up rave reviews everywhere. Indifferent Engine – Another band who have continued to evolve, IE’s high-energy live shows have won them a steadily growing legion of fans over the past few years, with their ‘post-anxietycore’ post-hardcore/alt-rock/impossible to pigeonhole sound, unique live environment set-up and a frontman who wears his heart on his sleeve and has a habit of attacking his own bandmates. In A House Of Heartbeats – This atmospheric post-metal/post-rock trio played their first 85 gig in 2023, and had already won the crowd over by the end of their first song, with a immersive sound that pulls the listener in. Currently working on their debut release, they are one to watch.
