Left Field Club rock/alternative: ALMAMOR (Album launch) + POINTS + LUNAR

The Left Field Club brings great alternative rock and indie bands to Club 85.

Tonight, we have a triple header, featuring three of promoter Roger King’s favourite bands, as a birthday treat for himself and everyone else who wants to join him!

There’s rock trio Almamor, who will be unleashing their debut album… Three musicians from Portugal, Greece and the UK who met in London and were an unexpected highlight of last year’s Balstock festival. They take influences from the past five decades of rock music (particularly strongly from the 70s and 90s, to these ears) and merge it into a splendid and cohesive whole!

And we have the return of Left Field Club favourites Points, back with a new lineup and new songs, and LUNAR.

PHLEFONYAAR
www.facebook.com/Phlefonyaar

Formed in 1996. Phlefonyaar *pronounced “flef-on-yar”* is named after one of the tribes that inhabit the banks of the black river in hell, the phlegathon. Like their name sake, this band produces “quite unlovely” music that’ll make you feel wrong in all the right ways.

DEEP THROAT TRAUMA
www.facebook.com/deepthroattrauma

Deep Throat Trauma will be here all the way from Essex to provide you with a blend of balls-to-the-wall brutality and an upbeat party atmosphere. You can expect some serious metal and rock gore from this hard-core quartet.

LILITH AND THE KNIGHT
www.facebook.com/lilithandtheknight

With their debut single ‘Wake Up’ play-listed on Total Rock Radio for over 6 weeks, and receiving play on over 29 radio stations, Lilith and The Knight will captivate you from the very first note that bursts forth from the stage with their “dark and seductive full on assault to the senses”.

BLACK SKULL RITUAL
www.facebook.com/blackskullritual

Described as being ‘ like Tom G Warrior fronting a hybrid of industrial crust punk/metal!’ Black Skull Ritual are based in Herfordshire and Southend UK. They are a two man riff assault on your eardrums.

Entry £5
