THE SMYTHS – 40TH Anniversary of The Smiths / Hatful Of Hollow + Best Of Set.

The Smyths are back on tour for 2024 – and are returning to Club 85 in Hitchin on Friday 5th April following a SOLD OUT out show in 2023.

The new tour is a celebration of the classic release of their self-titled debut album THE SMITHS and it’s vinyl accomplice HATFUL OF HOLLOW compilation which featured outakes, radio sessions, b-sides and standalone singles but is often considered some if the bands finest work .

Between these two albums the band produced some of the greatest tracks THE SMITHS ever produced including Reel Around The Fountain, Hand In Glove, Still Ill, What Difference Does it Make & This Charming Man, Handsome Devil, William, It Was Really Nothing, How Soon Is Now, Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now, Back to the Ole House.

Alongside revisiting tracks off these great albums the band will also play a ‘Best Of’ set with tracks all across the classic Smiths back catalogue.

Tickets priced £17 are on sale from Seetickets from Monday 31st July and also available from local outlets.

 No refunds will be given for incorrectly booked tickets.

Age: 16+ with photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult.
Earplugs are available upon request (50p).
Downstairs bar open until 1am.
Like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge/Peterborough and London and we are just a 5 minute stroll from the station.
